Tyre Building – Delft

During our quiet time in winter, we took the opportunity to do some training. Our director Regardt and foreman Richard attended the 4 week building course with The Natural Building Collective and Guy Williams, at a school in Delft.

The build was for an ECD training centre. During the training we learnt about different building modalities. Fields of study that were covered include cob, natural plasters, rammed tyre contruction, concrete casting, CEB (compressed earth block) manufacture, earth floors and bottle walls.
